Dan Graham
The artist, Dan Graham, has been leaving his fingerprint around the world of conceptual art for over 50 years. Known for his simplistic hybrids, Graham is able to subtly ease the "sense of one category of art drifting into another" without overwhelming the viewer. This idea derived from his earlier works of performance/video, in which experimental audience involvement was used. Graham continues to involve the viewer with his mirror complexities and pavilions by enlightening the inner and outer self-consciousness.
Carl Andre
Carl Andre, born in september of 1935, is not only simplistic, but more commonly referred to as minimalistic. His contemporary works have included stacks of bricks, a pile of sand, concrete blocks, and rock piles. Since these instillations are so simple, it heavily directs the viewer toward its conceptual idea. This has become the style and focus for Andre throughout the years.
Donald Judd
Born in 1928, Donald Judd has become an accomplished artist known for his artwork and furniture. Similar to Andre and Graham, Judd is also well known for his simplicity in conceptual art. More of his familiar pieces are the multiple stacked cube instillations, These were created for the viewer's interaction with the piece and the space surrounding it. The unity of the two is Judd's goal for each experience.
